ELOH: level 93

There were some levels in the first 81 that I gave up on and found online solutions. Then I thought that was it and deleted the game. Then more levels were made, I reinstalled, and completed the first 81 again without help. I worked on level 93 sporadically for days. And finally figured it out myself. So happy!

Urban Chic. Really?

Urban Chic is back. Last time this event came around, I got so frustrated I quit after two days. Fashion Designer is a relatively quick hobby and you can buy as many stations as you like. I have 14. In about 30 minutes I have 10 of the 12 items. The other two take hours and hours to get. I suppose EA is hoping I’ll break down and buy Life Points to speed things up. Nope. Not me. Six of the possible eight outfits. I’ve got three. The clothes aren’t that exiting. They are sort of 80’s nostalgia outfits. I’ve got three women’s and no men’s (yet). Hope springs eternal! Maybe this time I’ll end up with three more outfits. At one per day, and with five days left, that’s probably how my luck will go. Today’s win.

Lake House (Hearth of Stone Quest) summation

This was a difficult quest to complete without having up to 28 Sims simultaneously available. Bit of a cheat. Past year’s Christmas gift events were actually more like gifts than money grabs. Shortly before the event started, coffee drinking quit working in my updated app. Fortunately, it was fixed by the time of this event. A bunch of sims had to make a fire coffee which took around four hours. Sims used to drink at the coffee maker standing up. Now they have to have a chair and table or other area to sit down and drink. Even though my sims have indoor table and chairs, most of them ended up outside on benches in the snow. Drinking outside in the snow—like you do. Cute patchwork blankets. Lovely atrium feature. Plenty of seasonal decorations. My favorite feature is the piano sing along. Gees! This video was made really small! The crackling sound in the background is a fireplace.
